I have been fortunate enough to work on both web design and mobile design in my career. I have rewritten apps that already exist, added to apps that are in production, and created apps from scratch.
Below you will see a small collection of the mobile design work I have created.
The following designs are from a mobile app re-write that I worked on. The old style is the left column, and the redesign is on the right.
This project was adding a feature to an app that is in production. It was identified that a need of users was to be able to see device logs in-app. This app was used during large events, and if there were issues that prevented the app from performing it would pose a serious risk to the event. The solution was to add logs to the app, and let users view these logs in real time. Users could then identify what the root cause of an issue to more quickly fix the problem.
This gif is actually a screen recording of a figma prototype. I used Figma's new variables feature to create states and tied card visibility to those states. Notice how the cards behind the control drawer don't change until the user clicks "Apply Filter".
